Melissa Fender joined the Spine & Sport team in 2009 after a long career in Luxury Resort Spa Management, Corporate Training & Corporate Brand Positioning. She held many positions within the organization before being promoted to Vice-President of Administration in July 2010. As a top company executive, Melissa most enjoys planning and implementing strategies for ensuring solid, functioning company policy and the overall establishment of the organization. Melissa is an avid lover of children, and is currently serving a two-year term as a Community Business Advisor on the Blandford Elementary School Council in Effingham County. When needed, she also volunteers her services as a Certified Massage Therapist & Shiatsu Practitioner to raise funds for Hope for Savannah, a local non-profit organization serving families with children who are fighting all types and stages of childhood cancer.
