4 Injury Tips

If you feel an injury has occurred just remember these 4 injury tips spelled out by the word: RICE.

  1. Rest: Stop your activity immediately and rest
  2. Ice: Place an ice pack on the affected area for 10–20 minutes
  3. Compression: Reduce swelling by applying light compression to the injury
  4. Elevation: Position the injured body part on pillows above heart level

Then call your physical therapist.
